Laird Street blessed by Judy's visit

Laird Street Baptist Church, Birkenhead had an amazing service as we welcomed our BMS Mission Worker link Judy Cook from Hope Home Thailand, writes Cathy Buntin

A group of five people, smiling and standing inside a church with a cross, stained glass window, and world map.

Judy gave a wonderful presentation on Sunday 10 May about the amazing work and God's wonderful provision. She spoke on Philippians chapter 4 which was very inspiring.

In 2007, Judy set up and remains nurse manager of Hope Home in Chiang Mai for special needs children and young adults. Alongside this role, she supports the Social Development Services Unit, a team of social welfare workers in the Church of Christ in Thailand.

Judy challenged us to pray for the important work of mission.  We are grateful to our BMS for the support they give to our mission workers.

We were very blessed to host her and her dad Peter who accompanied her. The service was followed by a shared lunch and as usual the catering committee did us proud.

We were truly blessed by Judy's visit and it was lovely to welcome her and her dad to Laird Street after many years and to worship together and enjoy fellowship with them.

Please remember those who serve abroad with BMS World Mission and the amazing work they do in the Lord's service.
