'They have been like a breath of fresh air'

Geoff and Annie1Last year ago I wrote an article about having a chance encounter with a stranger, writes Cathy Buntin

Well, pictured here is that stranger Geoff with his lovely wife Annie. We had the pleasure of welcoming Geoff and Annie into membership of Laird Street Baptist on Sunday, 7 July. They have both been an inspiration and encouragement to our church family at Laird Street and we look forward to all that God has for us in the gifts he has placed within them.

Before membership they were committed to the church family in study of God's word and faithful in prayer. They have been like a breath of fresh air. Whenever they overhear about work needing to be done they have done it before we asked someone. They have the gift of giving unconditionally. They challenge us with their questions in our house group studies and keep the leaders on their toes.

God has blessed them in abundance and our church family through faithful membership of both Annie, Geoff and the members of our church family.

We look forward to all that God has in store for us and we are excited.
