Keep our eyes fixed on Jesus

Verse: Hebrews 12

Reflection
 

 

I don’t know if like me you find yourself in a season where there’s many things vying for your attention – both with your mind and with your emotions – and so I’m reminded of Hebrews chapter 12 where we’re encouraged to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus – the pioneer and perfecter of our faith. And as Baptists we have that beautiful expression of walking with one another and watching over one another, encouraging each other to keep our eyes fixed on him.

Prayer
May you know our God, the God that walks with you at a pace that is right for you.
May you find comfort in God's companionship and may you hear his word of encouragement to keep going and to keep focus on Jesus the pioneer and perfecter of your faith...
And in each of our own unique contexts and communities may we continue to follow God's example and walk together, watching over one another.
