The riches of God's grace

Verse: Luke 2: 40

Reflection
 

 

Luke 2:40 reminds us that Jesus grew and became strong. He was filled with wisdom and the grace of God was upon him. Paul also writes that the riches of God’s grace have been lavished upon us.
 
I’ve been on a grace journey for many years, and I seek to pass on God’s grace; live a life of grace and generosity.

A Grace Doxology
Praise you, Lord, for your deep and rich grace
It is quite simply mind-blowing – you have given freely and so generously
Your grace is unearned
It cannot be repaid
It is so irrational
It is so hard to grasp
Yet it comforts and heals the inner heart
It lifts the battered and the bruised
It reaches the sinner and the guilty
It melts our stubbornness
It copes with our awkwardness
It deals with our wilfulness and our betrayal
