A prayer about the opportunites Easter has brought to share faith - from Satyajit (Sat) Deodhar, minister of Countess Free Church Ely, in the Eastern Baptist Association.
 
 

 

Hi I’m Sat, the minister at Countess Free Church, Ely.

I really want to praise God for the wonderful opportunities that we had during Good Friday and Easter to share his love. And I’m sure we all have the same similar stories. Let’s pray for the people who have heard God’s good news during this season.
 
Lord we want to thank you for opportunities that we had to share your love with people, Lord.
Lord we pray as we have sown the seed of your truth in their lives, Lord. We pray that it will find its roots in its time, Lord, and they will come to a place where they would accept you as the living saviour.

We pray for people – those who are still seeking you Lord. Help us Lord to keep our eyes and ears open and to reach out to them.
 
We pray that you would help us, Lord to find strength in you, to find your wisdom and to work under your guidance.

Be with us Lord, in Jesus’ name we pray.
