Start sharing Jesus with Everyone Everywhere
Ordinary people becoming Christians; ordinary Christians talking openly about Jesus; and ordinary churches starting new Christian communities
Alex Harris introduces Everyone Everywhere, our Baptist collaboration focused on equipping churches and individuals across the whole country with the tools they need to see new people become Christians and new churches start in their communities
Everyone Everywhere was launched at the 2024 Baptist Assembly
Are you mission hearted?
But do you sometimes struggle to share your faith?
Would you like to see more people become Christians?
Are you part of an ordinary church and wonder how you might start a new community or grow because new people are becoming Christians?
You're not alone! That’s me too!
I long to see more people come to know Jesus. Yet I sometimes feel unsure how that might happen. I often wonder why people don’t come to church. I find myself thinking about how we might take church to those people in their everyday lives.
So, I am so delighted to be part of a group of passionate Baptists banding together to empower everyday followers of Jesus – just like you and me - to confidently share their faith.
Everyone Everywhere is our Baptist collaboration focused on equipping churches and individuals across the whole country with the tools they need to see new people become Christians and new churches start in their communities. It serves ordinary Christians and ordinary churches to help you see more people become Christians; and maybe even consider a new church expression where you live and amongst those you know.
Through events, training, resources, and mentoring - and working across our Baptist family - we want to kindle your everyday confidence to have spiritual conversations, invite friends to faith in Jesus, discuss the Bible with folk exploring big questions, and ignite little conversations about Jesus all over your everyday life.
Everyone Everywhere is there to help you, or your church, begin to imagine launching a new church plant, missional community, or church expression when and where it's needed most – perhaps right on your doorstep.
Key offerings include:
-
high quality resources to help ordinary people feel confident to say something about Jesus especially around festival times like Christmas and Easter.
-
Roadshow days for churches, clusters and Associations who want to explore how to start new Christian communities and churches simply, cost-effectively, and fruitfully because they are seeing new people become Christians.
-
signposting the best of our Baptist resources so they are available to everyone, everywhere to access.
-
encouraging and supporting catalysing groups to champion local initiatives.
-
hosting national conferences for Baptists on church planting, like one secured for 8 October 2024 with Dave Ferguson of Exponential and NewThing.
-
Everyone Everywhere has partnered with Fresh Streams for its prayer and fasting day on 26 September
We don't have to be a professional minister or gifted evangelist. Far from it. By working together we think we can see more ordinary people become Christians, ordinary Christians speak more openly about Jesus in ordinary ways, and ordinary churches more able to imagine starting new Christian communities where they are needed, when they are needed, and in the way they are needed.
Won’t that be amazing?
