'We are more than just a website provider for churches - we are a fully integrated, all-in-one hub'
The Baptists Together website and app developer has undergone a rebrand from ChurchInsight to Hubb.church to better reflect the integrated platform it now offers
ChurchInsight began in 2002 with a desire to provide churches with an excellent website, management system and helpful customer support.
Baptists Together teamed up with the Cambridge-based company in 2013 to create the current website, which has received ongoing development since the partnership began.
The company has grown to support hundreds of churches (including around Baptist churches), and thousands of leaders, staff and volunteers.
In recent years it has developed new features, most notably a customisable app which is fully integrated into the customer’s website. It also offers further admin, communication, people management and finance tools to support churches and their ministry.
The new name and rebrand reflects these developments.
‘Hubb.church started life as ChurchInsight back in 2002,’ explains CEO Adam Johannes. ‘We saw the need for churches to have a website to improve their communications in an increasingly digital world. Our system helps them use technology to save them time and money and focus more on their mission.
‘Nothing has changed in this regard, but as we approached 2020, we felt it was time to refresh the company’s image and rebrand our system.
‘We are more than just member management software. We are more than just a website provider for churches - we are a fully integrated, all-in-one hub that helps churches to look great and engage with their members and non-members, and we provide many features to help churches with their giving, admin and communications.’
He explains that the newly developed app features such as church calendars, sermons/media and rotas in an accessible format compatible with all major devices.
‘This new feature enables you to engage your members more efficiently and allows them to keep up to date with what’s going on. This is your church app - carrying your own name, logo and branding.
‘ChurchInsight has always been the hub of church admin and communications, with the integrated website. With the launch of the new app, hubb.church is even more integral to the life of your church.’
Adam adds that the team behind the company hasn’t changed.
‘We are very fortunate to have our team of seven staff that have worked together for over six years and are good friends.
‘We are church members, leaders and administrators ourselves, so we know first-hand the challenges churches face.
‘The name change reflects a fresh new look for the product that you know and love.
‘We are the same company and people you know, with the same desire to serve the church and help its mission.’
