Retirement of Long Eaton pastor

Long Eaton Baptist Church, Nottingham, held a farewell lunch for their much loved pastor David Shaw, who retired on 31 March after almost six years as their pastor

Long EatonDuring the lunch David was presented with a gift from the church by Mrs Eileen Fletcher, senior elder and church member.

He is well respected in the local community through his work and support for many organisations. During his service at the church the baptistery was opened for the first time in more than 30 years.

David and his wife Susan will continue to live in the area and remain members of the church.

Thank you David for six wonderful years of ministry to Long Eaton Baptist Church and the wider community.
