Concert raises funds for charity

AlvechurchAfter the morning service on 2 April at Alvechurch Baptist Church, Liz Garside and Jonathan Cochrane gave a mini-concert in aid of Child Bereavement UK.

Light classics, a tango or two, and some West Side Story gave a wonderfully varied programme for the folk present.

Afterwards a light lunch and desserts gave time for attendees and performers to meet and mingle.

Jon, a member of the church, has a personal connection with Child Bereavement UK.

Donations totalled £254 for the cause.
