'Join the dots between action, politics and discipleship' - Feb conference 

 

The Revd Dr Giles Fraser is a guest speaker at a conference organised by the Joint Public Issues Team of the Baptist Union of Great Britain, the Methodist Church and United Reformed Church in February

 
The Think Speak Act Conference on 2 February at Carss Lane Church Centre in Birmingham is designed to equip Christians for mission and justice.
It is described as 'a conference of inspiration and practical advice to help join the dots between action, politics and discipleship'.

Joining Dr Fraser - a priest, writer and broadcaster - as main speakers are the Revd Roberta Rominger, general secretary of the United Reformed Church, and the Revd Dr Martyn Atkins, general secretary of the Methodist Church.Join the dots between action p

The workshops will include ten top tips for running a campaign; getting your message across to local media; preaching and praying for justice; and Praxis: From theology to action using the pastoral cycle.

The cost is £10 to cover lunch and coffee.
