Worker/Evangelist

Chard Baptist Church is seeking to appoint a committed Christian who is passionate about sharing their faith.  The person appointed will be expected to pioneer, develop and lead the growth of our ministry to all age groups building on the many contacts we have and motivating a team of volunteers. 
This post will suit someone with proven experience of working throughout the age spectrum.  This is a part-time role of 20-25 hours per week (subject to agreement) and will involve flexible working including some Sundays.
Chard Baptist Church takes its safeguarding responsibilities very seriously, consequently thorough checks will be sought.  Our Safeguarding Policy is available on the website.
The nature of this post gives rise to an Occupational Requirement (under the Equality Act 2010) for the post-holder to be a Christian.  
A salary between £24,000 and £26,000 per annum FT equivalent pro rata will be available depending on qualifications and experience.
