BT Round-up Nov 2025Baptist Times News Round-up - 19 November 2025

Welcome to the Baptist Times News Round-up for November, which contains a mix of news, stories and reflections which have recently been published on the website, alongside baptisms, obituaries and other news.

This month’s offering features a couple of national reports (Baptist Union CouncilMission Forum) and reflection - Ministries Team co-leaders Tim Fergusson and Lee Johnson highlight the challenge of recovering a healthy supply of ministers for our churches. A 'Discovering Ministry' session takes place at the next Baptist Assembly.

A reminder that registration for the Baptist Assembly (15-17 May 2026) opened earlier this autumn - and the early bird special offer runs until 30 November.

The theme is United in Mission: gathering and sharing. The thinking behind this, programme details, registration and more are all available on the Baptist Assembly website

Every blessing,

Paul Hobson
Faith and Society Editor/Writer
