Baptist Times News Round-up - 15 May 2024
Welcome to the Baptist Times News Round-up for May, which reaches you a couple of days before the 2024 Baptist Assembly, held once again at the Telford International Centre. Though online registrations have now closed and the children and young people's programmes are fully booked, tickets will be available to purchase on the day. You will be very welcome!
We will dwell on the words of Acts 2 throughout and prayer will be central. Below are details of a prayer initiative that will be launched this weekend, while the June Round-up (and the website) will feature various Assembly reports.
Also below is news of the findings of Project Violet, a major study into women’s experience of ministry with a series of requests for change, and another encouraging collection of baptism stories - thanks so much for sharing them.
Every blessing,
Paul Hobson
