Baptist Times News Round-up - 24 July 2024
Welcome to the Baptist Times News Round-up for July. Here you'll find the usual mix of stories, reflections, baptism notifications and more. This month features the sad news of the death of Brian Haymes, a former Baptist Union President and Principal of two Baptist colleges. Friends and colleagues reflect on Brian's life.
These include our current President Steve Finamore, who is publishing a regular diary - access the May and June entries here. Elsewhere we also carry details about the first Everyone Everywhere gathering, which is taking place on 8 October. Everyone Everywhere is a Baptist-wide initiative all about equipping people to share their faith.
There are book suggestions for the summer, and though this is the last Round-up until September, please continue to send your baptism stories - they're always so encouraging.
Every blessing,
Paul Hobson
