Day of Prayer: 'please join us'

This Monday (1 February) is the BMS Day of Prayer. Please join in praying for the life-transforming work of BMS World Mission around the world and its vision to do even more in the next five years

One thing we love at BMS is knowing that we’re never trying to do anything alone – we are equipped by a God who wants the best for all he has created and we are partnering with thousands of supporting churches and individuals who are travelling alongside us, encouraging us, funding us and praying for us.

That makes all the difference.

This coming Monday (1 February) is the annual BMS Day of Prayer. It would be a huge blessing if you would pray alongside us, either on that day or with your church this Sunday. We’ve been really encouraged in previous years by the number of churches and individuals who have joined with us in praying and we hope that many of you will be able to share with us in this special time of prayer again.

Tweet us or tag us on Facebook to let us know you’re praying!

Here are some resources we have created to help you to pray with us:

  • Day of Prayer programme: give a simple structure to your day by using this programme, which mirrors the event being held at BMS HQ.

  • World map for the Day of Prayer: a map highlighting the countries where BMS works.

  • BMS worker’s directory: want to pray for our mission workers by name? Find out about our workers and the countries they are serving in.

Thank you for praying with us - on the Day of Prayer and all year round.
