Baptist history day: 'Smoke, Fire and Light'

The Baptist Historical Society is running a Baptist history day at South Wales Baptist College in Cardiff on 4 July.family-history

The day includes a morning lecture and an afternoon workshop.

‘Smoke, Fire and Light: a reassessment of the Welsh Baptist witness at the turn of the 18th century’ is the theme of the lecture presented by Professor D, Densil Morgan, of the University of Wales Trinity St David, Lampeter.


‘Writing an engaging history of your church’ is a workshop for anyone thinking about or in the middle of a project to document the story of their church. The workshop will be led by Revd Emma Walsh, College Librarian at Regent’s Park college, Oxford.

The day will run from 10.30am-4pm, costing £5.00 (including a light lunch).
