Recommendation 1: Consider regular preaching on the biblical models of the body of Christ and the priesthood of all believers. Consider exploring Baptist history and teaching about covenantal role of church members.

Recommendation 2: Think about how you might share the slow wisdom model of discernment to help members from different denominational backgrounds especially to participate.

Recommendation 3: Consider the practical arrangements of your church meeting. Does the timing of your church meeting to help the most members attend? Would offering childcare to help parents attend?

Recommendation 4: Try small groups to disrupt power balance and hear the Spirit speak from all members.

Recommendation 5: Consider the agenda items from your meeting, are they strategic or missional?
