Claude Halm
I am originally from Ghana but have lived most of my adult life in England. I trained as a Secondary School teacher through the University of London’s Institute of Education and taught at different inner-London Secondary School for many years. I moved on to become an Educational Consultant and worked with different organisations including Tribal Education and the Childcare Workforce Development Council of England to train professionals in early years education.
After completing postgraduate studies at Spurgeon’s College, I joined the pastoral team at Trinity Baptist Church in South London for four years before becoming pastor at Alperton Baptist Church in Wembley for six years. I currently split my time to serve two different LBA Churches as pastor, namely Seven Kings United Free Church and International Praise Centre Baptist Church. I also represent the LBA on the Baptists Together Council.
I have a great heart for pioneering and prioritise leading God’s Church on a purposeful journey of spiritual growth, renewal and evangelism. I bring to the BSG cultural diversity and a passion to raise and equip a generation of young people who can live out God’s love and purpose in communities. I currently live in London with my dear wife Trudie who is a childcare professional and our two lovely children, Samuel and Joy.
