Baptist Assembly 2023: Mission is... Realising 'Evangelism is about The One'

When asked ‘What is Church?’ many of us would ultimately, probably, arrive at the answer, ’the people.’ But what does that mean? How does the answer to that question define our mission?

This seminar followed the journey of Gamlingay Baptist Church over the last few years, in which the ‘church’ went from 15-25, to over 100, serving the community missionally through a community cafe, food project, two weekly services, missional 'Third Sundays' and much more. How did a quiet, rural, historic, traditional church embark on a journey to become a central part of its community?
