The Baptist Union Retreat Group (BURG) encourages the life of prayer and silence. 

The group typically runs a Lent retreat, an Autumn retreat and an annual conference. Individually guided retreats and quiet days are also offered.

They support the training of retreat leaders and spiritual directors and provide related information through their publication, The Journal and other media.

The BURG website provides information on membership, retreats and other events as well as downloads of past Journals and other documents and links to related organisations.
