Finance Manager (part time, 24 hours a week)

Wycliffe is a church based in Reading, Berkshire. We are around 500 people with an annual turnover of around £550,000. We are looking for a qualified finance professional to take responsibility for the compliant and efficient administration of our finances.
The role will include working with our book-keeper and operations department to ensure that all income and expense is processed and accounted for on a monthly basis, and that all relevant parties are fully informed of an up to date, accurate and compliant financial position.
In particular, the post-holder will work with our Treasurer ensuring that they have the information they need to confidently advise our Church Council and Church membership on the financial position of the church on a month to month basis.
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that all financial compliance is maintained, that budget holders are kept informed of their expenditure, that the annual budget is prepared in a timely manner and that the annual submission of audited accounts to the Charities Commission is achieved on time.
