Leigh Road Baptist Church, Leigh-on-Sea

LRBC CFW 0521We are seeking to appoint a Children & Families Worker

  • Do you have a passion to introduce children to Jesus and help them grow as his disciples?
  • Do you have a heart to help a church reach children & families across a town?
  • Are you able to lead, envision and empower other leaders?

Leigh Road Baptist Church (LRBC) is expanding its children’s and families work across the church and local community and is looking for a person (or persons) with enthusiasm, experience and creativity to be hands on and mobilize and lead a team of volunteers. The aim is to see children and families encounter God and become lifetime followers of Jesus. This is a key appointment for LRBC at an exciting time as we take a fresh look at the shape of this ministry.

The purpose of this role is to develop our ministry with children and their families within the wider vision and strategy of LRBC by working with others and using both in-person and online opportunities.

Further information and the role description can be found at www.lrbc.org.uk/jobs or by emailing tim.willcock@lrbc.org.uk. Please also make contact if you would like to find out more about LRBC or the role itself.

Closing date for applications 19 June 2021

There is an occupational requirement for the postholder to be a committed Christian in agreement with the church’s statement of faith. This is because of the teaching and discipleship responsibilities of this role.
